Omarion, is Omari Ishmael Grandberry, born November 12, 1984 in Los
Angeles, a Scorpio, under the sign known to be determined, steadfast,
and able to make leaps of faith without thinking twice. One-fourth of
the rocket-streaking boy band, B2K, (Boys of 2000), Omari Grandberry is
cousin to JBoog and brother of IMx's Marques "Batman" Houston. They
blew the sox of the popcharts with their debut single, "Uh huh," in
early 2002, a steamy but infectious dance track, by avoiding the trendy,
anemic safety path chosen by breakout boy bands. It was anointed by a
stylish Hype Williams video.
