Michelle Hunziker
Michelle Hunziker was born Michelle Yvonne Hunziker in Lugano,
Switzerland on January 24, 1977, to a German-speaking hotel manager
father, and a Dutch-speaking mother. She moved to Berne where she
attended elementary school, then at the age of sixteen along with her
mother, relocated first to Bologna and then to Milan. Her earliest
studies were in languages, giving rise to her ambition to be an
interpreter. On reaching Milan, she converted to fashion modeling, and
by the age of seventeen she was working in television campaigns and
billboard advertisements for top labels, including Colmar, Armani, and
Rocco Barocco.
Michelle won an Italian television award in 2001 as Discovery of The Year. In 1998, she married Italian singer Eros Ramazzoti, and later gave birth to daughter, Aurora. Afterward, she was able to land some roles in English films, including "The Protagonists" and "Ancient Warriors." She successfully recovered her figure after childbirth, and was soon posing for photo shoots in Maxim, GQ, and Max magazines. It was only natural for her to be hired as an emcee for Germany's version of American Idol. From there, she moved on to become a presenter for the World Idol in 2003. .15hqql.
