Kristanna Loken is an actress and model who was born on December
19,1979. Of Norwegian heritage, her father is a writer and farmer, and
her mother a former model. At an early age, Kristanna engaged in
dancing, acting, and singing, but as a sports enthusiast and excellent
scholar, she seemed destined for other careers. A horseback rider, with
equestrian skills, the tall blonde rode in equestrian events
internationally. With her mother's encouragement, Kristanna changed
directions, enrolling in modeling contests, where she placed third at
age fifteen in a Spanish Elite Look of the Year competition. From this,
she was able to acquire modeling jobs.
Fate took a positive turn when Kristanna captured a soap opera role in "As the World Turns." The resulting acting exposure allowed her to acquire guest appearances on sitcoms, including "Boy Meets World" and "Just Shoot Me." Adding to her portfolio of small appearances on shows like "Lois & Clark" she acquired a significant role on "Pensacola" in 1997 where she remained for one year. She finally achieved a more substantial recurring role in the drama "Philly" in 2001 then found a role in the movie "Panic" that same year. It wasn't until 2003, in the Arnold Shwarzenegger film, "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" that she received widespread public recognition as the apparently invincible villain, "T-X." At five-foot eleven-inches, the very fit sultry-voiced Kristanna has emerged as an imposing actress with the potential for a great future.
