Bow Wow, formerly Lil Bow Wow, was born Shad Gregory Moss on March 9,
1987 in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
Having started rapping at age 3, Lil Bow Wow surprised everyone with his
artistry, and by age 13, in the year 2000, released his first solo
album, "Beware the Dog." Most of the album was written by Jermaine
Dupri of So So Def, an Atlanta-based record label.
With a natural flow and a sense of showmanship, Lil Bow Wow was no mere
novelty act to be swept aside when the pros came out. He has now
graduated to pro status and will be climbing higher. It's just a matter
of time and opportunity.
In the mean-time he continues to develop his following, including the
ladies. Shad Moss is no woofmobile.
