B2K, (Boys of 2000) an urban R&B group skyrocketed to fame starting from
early 2002 to just a year later in January 2003 when "Bump, Bump, Bump"
bumped up to number one. B2K took advantage of being the opening act to
Lil Bow Wow, after their discovery at a record talent show, by
establishing a strong presence and becoming an instant crowd favorite,
with complex dance routines and smooth vocal harmonies.
The albums came fast and furious with a self-titled debut album that
included the hit single, "Uh, huh", followed by Pandemonium, led by
"Bump, Bump, Bump", and a holiday album, "Santa Hooked Me Up." The band
consists of Raz-B (Damario Monte Thornton), JBoog (Jarell Damonte
Houston), Omarion (Omari Ishmael Grandberry), and Lil Fizz (Druex
Pierre Fredericks).
The most favorite inspiration for the boys is Michael Jackson, and their
most favorite actor/actress is the academy award winning Halle Berry.
Although much has been speculated about interaction with Kyla Pratt,
former child star, who appeared notably in B2K video 'What a girl wants'.
Kyla gains a kiss, and ultimately a date with JBoog.
